Well to tell you the truth, I used to be under the impression that this place I speak of was Alaska. Under state constitution, possessing up to one ounce of pot in your home is completely legal. It seems very odd for a state with such a logical approach to a substance that has been deemed "bad" by so many to be considering this sort of idiot tobacco legislation.

But honestly, nothing really surprises me anymore. These are strange times.

I'll let you know if I ever find another such place. Wish me luck.

well into the 70s it was legal... went on an "ilegal" streak and just recently became legal again... but in the 70s it was an ounce on your person... that means everywhere.

Yes, legislators are bandwagon jumpers, they are morons and love to handle "candy" legislation since it's allmost 100% accepted by the voters. None of them want to lose their awesome jobs becase they actually took a stand for or against something.

off-topic weed should be legalized everywhere, I myself don't enjoy smoking it, but it's not something "bad"

I go further than most potheads and say that yes, pot should be LEGALIZED, not merely decriminalized. Not only should pot-smokers not have to worry about going to jail, they also shouldn't have to worry about their pot being adulterated, since I can buy alcohol without worrying about it having paint thinner in it.

and I don't smoke that loco-weed. legalization is the best thing that the U.S. could do to finally be first in world-wide sensible drug policy.
