I remember reading another thread where somebody had the same reaction to eucalyptus in the catch eucalyptus snus, it's just like any other food product i suppose in the way that you can be allergic to ingredients. The good thing about most snus though is that they do put ingredients on the tin so when you are sure of what it is you have the allergy to, it should be easy to avoid unless it was say the tobacco or the salt and then you would just have to give up hehe.

Dude, to the people who are allergic to that snus, dont drink gin. It has juniper in it.

It could very well be the additive in GR that are affecting you. Say the Juniper.

Not trying to be a mad scientist but maybe try and find other products with the same additives that you are familiar with. If you stay away from that food product or whatever because of allergic reaction, it might be that additive. or trial and error :-D

I just ordered some GR But I'm a freakin trash dump who'll eat almost anything hope the flowers don't bring me down!

Adding to lxskllr's comments: the first time your body is introduced to an allergen in forms a primary antibody response (it spends time making molecules to fight and destroy the foreign substance). It also remembers how to make those molecules and keeps them in memory cells.

The second, third, etc. time your body is exposed to those allergens it mounts a quicker allergic reaction (secondary antibody response). It recruits the cells that have a memory for making the anti-allergy molecules and releases those at the site of the insult. This means that you get more swelling and a faster reaction.

This does not apply to all cases, however it is one of the mechanisms responsible for the increasing severity of allergic reactions over time.

I really like the flavor of GR, but I don't think I'll use it anymore. I am mildly allergic to juniper shrubs and can't handle gin. My gums and lips were getting really tore up so I eliminated GR from the rotation a week ago. Everthing has been great since. Oh well, at least now I know.

This happened to me again this weekend when I used one of my friends RL portions. I no longer seem to have a problem with GBG. It seems like once in a blue moon something in a portion will make my lip itch then swell a little.

Pangloss is right. True allergies are no laughing matter. If you think it is a true allergy I wouldn't use again. Otherwise if you're not sure make sure you have some benadryl on hand and make sure you're not alone.
