pangloss, for whatever it is worth, I just figured you were our resident medical student new snuser, and were just suddenly interested in this whole new world of snus.

If you are gonna try the Northerner Energy, you must also try Elyxr. I think the Elyxr is 1000% better. Elyxr just makes me feel good, nothing speedy about it. But it just makes my entire body feel better. the Northerner, however, made my chest feel bad. It was a completely different feel that I hated.

Buuuuut the Cat Piss flavor!!! Wait let me address in order.

Yes I have quite the love affair with tobacco, I know she has the potential to hurt me in the future, but she's just soo damn good to me right now...

Interestingly a large portion of medical students smoke (many of whom did not begin until medical school). Most common reason upon questioning seems to be increased concentration. For example around a test week I will hit my body with as much caffeine as I can tolerate over a few days, and when I feel I have saturated in that regard, I switch to sugary substances shakes, malts, regular soda, and study off the sugar rush. I can also increase my nic consumption to get a different but just as effective buzz to utilize as a study aide.

What really boggles my mind though is the fact that there is so little exposure to actual statistics concerning snus and smokeless tobacco. Even upon asking a friend who is a dental student all she could say was "Snus is Bad for your teeth". My friends are "floored" when I pull up the articles and show them the data as we have been taught to associate all tobacco products as the devils candy.

Now onto the energy Snus! I read some of your previous posts about how you came to use elixir energy on a regular basis but I have also seen quite a few on the cat piss flavoring that accompanies it. Additionally I am concerned that the 11 or 12 mg nic/portion will knock me on my ass as the regular portions can still leave my head spinning sometimes (yea yea i'm a lightweight). Based on your rec though I will give it a shot however it won't be for a few weeks as I have two orders being shipped at the moment.

Just as a side note (and slightly off topic) was it you sage who posted offroad coffee vanilla as a favorite? everytime i window shop snus I can't help but think this would be my match made in heaven, however I stop myself from ordering based on the negative reviews. Thoughts?

LOL, most definitely not!!! Not a good snus unfortunately. I love the idea but Offroad missed on it badly.

I remember somebody saying they loved the OR coffee vanilla. My wife ordered a can and I tried a portion. The initial flavor to me is that of a convenience store cappacino or coffee flavored candy. Not my favorite, but definately not my least favorite! I think it would be good for fans of sweet type coffees. Just my opinion!

Hm... Now i'm a bit confused. I was under the impression that Offroad Coffee Vanilla, and the Offroad Brand in general, was absolute rubbish. Little better than American Snus. I read that the flavor had no similarity to coffee whatsoever and many people discarded/gave away their cans after trying it.

I like all forms of coffee, including: drip, black, with cream, frozen coffee drinks, specialty drinks, and when I've had too much caffeine I will even go so far as to drink decaff for the flavor.

Convenience store cappacino can be quite satisfying in the right context and portions and I do like the taste of coffee candy when available. If this is the case I may just have to pick up a can.

Alternatively, and I know this thread has drifted a bit off topic, if anyone has a can or semi opened can of offroad coffee vanilla that they despise send me a PM and I'd love to take it off your hands (in return for cash/whatever).

I'm the person that LOVES OR coffe/vanilla. Its pretty much the only snus I use. I just don't know whats wrong with most everyone else. LOL, maybe their tastes buds aren't as refined as mine. I've tried almost all the different snus brands and flavors and this is my favorite. It does not really taste too much like coffee or vanilla but it has a certain taste that I love.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
