    Browning teeth

Since I have started using "real" Snus over the past two weeks I have noticed my teeth have gotten brown. I still do my regular brushing, but I guess this is a symptom of regular Snus use.

Is there anyway to prevent this? What do you guys do to prevent this? Or are we all Brits in here?

I use mostly whites, just not nearly the issue with staining.

It happens to me when I use non-white portions especially the ones that are wet and juicy. Unfortunately most of my favorite portions are regular portions and at times my teeth get stained (noticeably) in about 1-2 hours after I put a juicy portion in. For this reason, I use white portions at work or in meetings.

In my case, a little baking soda in addition to normal brushing helps a lot in removing the stain.

I've used snus now for a month now and I've noticed my teeth getting whiter.

The only different thing that I'm doing now is using a strong mouthwash just once in the morning.

I'm pleasantly surprised that snus has not stained my teeth at all.

I've been snusing for almost two years now. I've never had a problem with brown teeth. Indeed, my teeth got whiter as I racked up more and more smoke-free days.

I brush twice a day and use mouth wash. I don't do anything spectacular in terms of dental care. Still, my teeth look fine.

I use loose, regular portions and white portions. No problems with any of them, save for the occasional stray piece of loose.

I just make sure to rinse with water between loads an Ive upped the amount of times I brush so they look better than when I was smoking. The biggest problem with the staining for me is between the teeth so I got some of the ultra floss and I can actually see the brown on it

I think as long as you stay on top of getting the stuff off of your teeth they will be ok. Im sure if you chain snus for days without brushing you could get some pretty gross shit going on.

                I pretty much chain snus.

yesterday I started brushing with baking soda, and it seems to be working.

I use white portions, but it still browns them (worse than smoking actually).

The first time I used swedish snus (GBG Rape'), my teeth got really brown, but it doesn't seem to have that problem much anymore.
