    Sore throats

Recently I was really sick, coughing a lot and all that jazz, high ass fever. But that isn't the point; all the coughing led to my having a sore throat when I was sick. I am not better, my nose isn't clogged and I rarely cough, however my sore throat has remained... I am wondering if snus may be contributing to the slowness of it healing completely. Has anyone had a sore throat stick around longer after theyve had one since theyve been snusing?

It's worth mentioning that I have been plagued with really bad post nasal drip ever sense I quit smoking, and I make every effort to not swallow mucus from it (so I clear my throat a lot and spit it out). But that has recently not really been an issue for me since I started taking allergy medicine and doing nasal irrigation (which is awesome, by the way)

But yeah, sore throats from snusing? I never had them before I was sick, and I snused then too. But I wonder if the constant clearing of my throat and the fact that the snus juice is a little harsh could be contributing to it not clearing up as quickly as I would like.

Yeah, I had a cold some months ago, with a sore throat. Of course, I didn't stop snusing, but I avoided to use a certain snus-brand that felt extremely harsh on my throat during that time. The cold went away after a few days.

Just use the snus that feels best for your throat and it shouldn't be an issue.

Just my 2 cents, everyone is different.

    Cheers!

I've found keeping the snus closer to the front helps to prevent drip.

Berks County, only about an hour from Philly.
