I totally fell off my new diet approach. You ever see that TV show "Intervention", I am just like that with bad carbs. I need a rehab place to go to, to be decarbed in a controlled environment.

I workout 3.25 days/week and it consists of 60-90 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weights. I do mind my snus usage before the gym as it causes my heart rate to be 5-10 points higher while doing cardio.

I've struggled with weight all my life but the ticker is great. I use snus so that I DON'T eat so much and it's helping in that department.

I don't know how great those diets are anyway. My friend had to have emergency gall bladder surgery and the doctor said that it was most likely due to yo-yoing twice in 3 years with the Atkins diet. He lost about 40 pounds over a year of working a factory job and Atkins diet. Then he switched jobs and gained it all back. He went back to the factory job did the diet again and lost all of the weight again and then the surgery.

Well, for me anyway, and I suspect everyone mostly, any diet is very hard to do and maintain, because it's trying to change a habitual way we have ate all out life. I've tried many methods, and while some worked better while I was on them than others, they all ended the same, and fall off the wagon, binge, and back to the old ways.

I'll jump in this thread(seems like I jump in them all anyway).

I have been taking Phentermine since Sept. and have had great results. After Thanksgiving I stopped taking them and have noticed my appetite returning. I bet I have put back on 5 pounds that I had lost

I need to hit the gym. I am hoping to cancel the membership and get Wii fit. It would be easier than getting the 3 kids ready to go to the gym. I could would out and they could all still be in their pj's.

weight loss is 80% diet, 20% exercise..

that being said, bodyweight exercises are the absolute best for you..

wall-walk outs (hand stand up against a wall, walk out to a pushup position, then walk back up to hand stand)

              pushups

              pull-ups/chin-ups

bodyweight squats (just squat down ass to ankles, and back up, do single legged when it gets easy)
