gums are ribbed ?

Hey ho

after the first 1 year of snusing (or there about) my gums started to feel a bit ribbed.
They dont hurt or anything, just ribbed. My dentist said he could see/feel the ribbed area above my front theeths. It dont bother me much, unless im eating peanuts, cause hundreds and thousands small pieces get stuck at my gum.

Anyone else feels the ribbed gum?

Actually since switching from Copenhagen dip to snus, my gums are as smooth as a babies ass. Maybe this will change as I delv into more los, who knows?

What do you mean by ribbed? Like the gum flesh has become thinner and the teeth roots are poking through more?

I'm thinking they mean when the gums form ribs like on a condom. Like a washboard effect.

lmao. well, I've not had this problem upstairs since I'm a bit of a snusing newbie, but I've definitely had the "ribbed" effect on my bottom lip from dipping.

the usual advice of "taking a break" or "switching sides" applies here I think.. when i switched sides for a week (dipping) the problem went away for a bit; unsure how relevant it is to snus.
