I'd say it isn't cancer. I had a couple lumps in my mouth before i used snus that I was concerned about, but the dentist wasn't when I asked him. He said it was normal. As always, a professional is better than a message board, but I wouldn't be concerned.
Before I started using snus I had a bump on my gum. I showed it to my doctor and he said not to worry about it. I told him I looked it up on line and he laughed and said "Did you think it was cancer? Online the differential diagnosis is always cancer"
it's normal to have small lumps in your lips.... both upper and lower... if you palpate both lips closely you'll feel them inside... like small granules
don't worry cancer surfaces.... if it's cancer it should come up to the surface of the skin which I doubt...
As others have said, Snus has been studied for 30 years in Sweden and there is no risk of oral cancer ever found. The only increased cancer risk with snus (as with all tobacco products) is you will double your risk for Pancreatic cancer. From 4 in 100,000 to 8 in 100,000. I am comfortable with that risk.
Besides, the increased risk in pancreatic cancer is the same risk from drinking two sodas a week, believe it or not. Really puts that into perspective.
from reading around, I'm pretty sure its a mucocelle
I've confirmed it to be not cancer. I can literally move it around under the skin with my tongue.
I have something similar on my arm, its sort of a bobble with fat in it. you don't notice it until you rub the arm and feel around, and you can move it around slightly too. I've had it for at least a year
Started snusing about two months ago, and I'm going hard on Siberia White RN.
So, as far as my research goes, the chances of you getting oral cancer because of snus is pretty much as high as getting it without.
I have a pretty big Keratosis in my upper gums tho (Smokeless Tobacco Keratosis), that kinda hurts:
It should go away after some weeks of not using any...
Pretty unsure if I should stop using for a while or just switch sides for now.
I has a lump on my right testicle is it cancer, oh I hope this forum can tell. If so,can’t you plz ban snus as I’m sure that’s what’s caused it, or perhaps it’s the amount of booze I drink ie. the average amount for a Brit. Or perhaps it is the cigs I smoke plz ban those too who, knows I’m dying here please pretty please tell me is it C

Could be a lump of chewing gum from that park bench...
Sorry my most humblist of apologies for my most outrageous of comments, I was most appallingly drunk that night. Cancer should always be taken seriously. I was just a Pratt that night still it made me decide to get checked out it was nothing btw. Not even a chewing gum what fun harrar

Edit: God damn this thread is old
If you're using nothing but white dry products, it's going to irritate your gums.
