Will USA Camel snus harm me

Hey everyone. Im 18 years old and i do not have a credit card to order snus online. Ive tried real snus a few times and love it but now all i can do is go to the gas station and buy camel. I know everyone hates it but i do enjoy the Mellow with my black coffees. Is this stuff just as bad as dipping? Is it pasturized like real snus, and are there serious risks to using this product? Thanks for any info

The only thing that worries be would be oral cancers. I still don't know the tsna level of this snus. Also i never exceed 4 portions per day, if that changes anything.

if you're worried about it, don't do it.

i tend not to worry about it, you gotta die sometime of something

American Camel snus is in the 1.5ppm range for TSNA levels; its comparable to Swedish snus. I would recommend getting a debit card and ordering the tasty Swedish brands instead.

Yeah, I would also say just get a debit card. Worst case, get a checking account and a paypal account. It's not hard to set up a Paypal card on there (there online generated ones, I wouldn't recommend actually getting the credit card), and Buysnus and Northerner both took them from me at least once.

As much as we talk bad about Camel around here when it comes to risk healthwise I don't think you are any worse off by using Camel. I think the health risks are about equal.

Camel just doesn't have the same nicotine kick so you end up using more. That equals being more expensive, on top of the fact Camel only gives you 12-15 portions per can while Swedish snus gives you 24.

If your 18 and just started using tobacco - please stop now! Quitting will not get easier over time and you are in the prime of your life.

But it is so fantastic. I have been using tobacco for about 4 years very casually. Usually I skip a few days of nicotine intake so I always get a buzz. I smoke a pipe too, without inhaling, about 3-4 times a month. I also use nasal snuff. I dont really want to stop..

If you don't want to quit, then that's your choice and who are we to tell you what to do.

That said, you're getting into a habit that will end up being costly and anywhere from slightly (snus) to very (smoking) detrimental to your health. We all started off as "casual" users, I mean, I didn't one day decide to become a 2 pack a day guy.

                      Just saying.

I go to wal-mart and get the re-loadable credit cards, it costs 4 bucks to load. The online shops all take that one. Clubsnus had a hard time with a Visa gift card I had, but we took care of it via paypal where my checking account is linked. I won't get a debit card w/ my family checking account becuz I screw up the account every time.

                        I hope that helps you.

Not at all! Smells more like a young person enjoying life ... and tobacco, while still having some health concerns and not (yet) being addicted like us. I guess we all have been there and I would be very careful to call someone a troll.

                          Back to the topic:

                          Welcome to the forum, MCWP!

There's little science about Camel "SNUS", but from common sense the differences to Swedish snus, regarding health-risks, should be negligible.

Nonetheless, I also suggest you should get a debit card or find a local tobacconist who carries Swedish snus, if only to have a choice. After what I have heard about Camel, the stuff probably tastes great on first try but gets old very soon.

                          Cheers!

The only major health concern using the Camel would be cavities.I don't know if it's sugar, but those little bastards are too sweet, you can almost feel your teeth rotting.

Im just going to ignore that.

..Thanks for the welcome, chainsnuser Also thanks all for the feedback.
Ill become addicted to nicotine sooner or later. Right now im mostly using nasal snuff, its super easy on the wallet and a large tin lasts sooo long. For me, snus is something I like to do with an outdoor walk or a coffee. Not my go to sorce of nicotine.

                              @Christi

I found those pre paid credit cards to be very unreliable. I tried using one at 5 or 6 stores and it only worked at 1 store. It was the pre paid Mastercard. I dont know if some cards are better than others.
