Usually, I smoke one cig on Friday night and one on Saturday night when I am out and about being all cosmopolitan. I pop a portion just as soon as I put the cig out.
I tried out the e-cigs too. They took some getting used to and once I did I actually liked them. But, I found I was using it all the time because it was so convenient. I didnt have to go outside anywhere like I did with the real thing. I found I was taking in more nicotine than I was smoking because I was constantly sucking on it. I decided to send it back (had a 30 day 100% money back deal) because it bothered my wife (she quit smoking too and it made her want to smoke seeing me use it) and I was constantly messing around with batteries and nic. cartridges. I also spend a lot of time outdoors and found it did not work very well at all on the open water when fishing. The wind or something affected it. A pain to when the battery went dead when Im sitting in a boat or in the woods. With snus I can see exactly what I have and my wife doesnt care if I snus.

Yes, for 16 years. Last Cig was Sept 11 2010. Went from about 12 smokes a day, now using about 4 snus portions a day. Cost wise, about 1200$ a year for smokes to an estimated 250$ a year for snus.

I quit smoking with Snus (and some e-cigs in the beginning). Used to smoke 30 a day for 16 years, with snus, it became one or two per week, now, a year later, maybe one a month.

8 months and counting. The best thing about snus, is occasionally when out with friends, I can smoke a cig without feeling the need to have anymore after that.

Yes. I first used snus to quit about six years ago, but didn't break with cigarettes completely. I did that on July 17, 2007, using snus and Stonewall dissolvables. Added an occasional pipe. Then, on Jan. 3, 2008, I began using electronic cigarettes. I now use snus daily, Stonewall daily after meals and first thing in the morning, a pipe three times a day and e-cigs every waking hour. I depend on snus for the nicotine I require. I use e-cigs for habit satisfaction (no small thing!). And I use pipes for taste.

Congats and welcome to the board! Gotta
admit it's cool to be able to do it anywhere. I've had a portion
in during xrays, mri's, movies, the mall, etc.
