Ive been taking passion flower to help sleep naturally, really helping so far for me. I get cranky and anxious when I have gone a bit without the snus.

It is so weird though to not really have withdrawals as with cigs. Just the extreme sleepiness! Do u ever get that panicky feeling of falling asleep for a second while driving??? For example, i do the long blink and my body goes limp but I realize this, wake up with a jolt, butterlies in the stomach..all that stuff happens in less than a second. I know i went crazy with my description, just trying to illuztrate the severity of my snus 'withdrawal.'
What you're describing is microsleep, falling asleep for a few seconds, only remedy is sleep and you can't avoid it.

Roo - you might be on to something. I ran out of vitamin B tabs about 6 months ago and didn't bother to get another bottle. I will pick one up at Trader Joes next time we go shopping.

Lxskllr - my diet really sucks. I do not eat meat at all but will eat dairy if nothing else is around. Believe me, there are also lots of foods out there that are terrible and vegan. Think potato chips and at least 8-10 cups of coffee a day!

desirexe - sometimes seems a bit scary about your condition and I am wondering how much sleep you are actually getting each night. You don't want to wake up while you are driving and jump to the other lane or something like that. Do you ever get out of your car about half way home just to stretch? I commute about an hour each day to get to work but fortunately the road home is up a mountain full of curves almost that I am forced to stay awake by driving it. To be honest - I am wondering if I might have had the flu for a few days but I have not heard of anything going around. I feel fine today and did not need to load up on snus.

It sounds to me given that you're vegan that you may be iron deficient. Then again - you may in actual fact be coming down with something and it just hasn't materialised into anything that you can put your finger on. I'm always getting those kinds of things because of my kids.

Also - exercise is a massive cure all. You don't need to run for long distances to get fit - do what they do in the Army. It's called a TAB (tactical advance to battle) where you plan a route of just say 4 miles and you'll power walk and then run as and when you feel like it. You should aim to power walk half and jog half.

Trust me - exercise gives you more energy. It also releases all those yummy endorphins which are an extremely powerful feel good drug and painkiller. You can't buy this stuff anywhere.

Yeah - did it yesterday. Re-calculated the route on the way back this morning at 4 miles exactly (part of it is cross country). I'm writing this having completed the day - counting patrols at work on the 12 hour shift that's 12 miles I've done today. I'm bolloxed. I'll be driving in tomorrow.

Sitting here with a few beers watching the morning news getting very pissed very quickly as a result of being knackered.
