Ok, so a few months ago at the cigar store i picked up a can of General Mini. and used it once in awhile at work when i got uber-stressed. this past friday i was snus'in pretty much all day. my usage grew now to a full on habit. i have an order placed at Northerner waiting to come in and have 4 cans in the fridge and 2 in the freezer of General. I still use Camel mellow as a sweet treat but am leaning more towards General Mint as my all the timer.
how long did it take you guys to go full on snus'er user??

Once i got my first order of snus, i bought dip maybe 3 times after that and then never again. It was really fast, i mean after i first tried it that was essentially the only stepping stone for me. Best choice i ever made.

i have the Christmas Snus on order. loved the description on it! i ordered 5 cans. Christmas in my lip? im so there....

It took me about six months. I tried snus when I first stopped smoking with dip but kept up on the dip for longer than I should have. Then the snuff crept in... Now I use a lot more snuff and a lot less snus (unless I get totally stressed, then all bets are off and im back to chainsnusing.

Pretty much right away. I continued to smoke regularly for another 8 months or so, but that slowly tapered off. When I was still smoking full time, I'd smoke with snus in :^D

Only took me about 2 weeks it was a no brainer.. Considering how safe it is why not? It's not perfect of course but it's a whole lot better than cigarettes.. We all deserve one vice so I say enjoy! Did you smoke before? By the way welcome to the board. Good to see another fellow Texas snuser..

Like tonight im watching the fights and i bought a really good cigar. one of my go to fav's and i smoked half, snuffed it and im Snus'ing instead.....

I think I'm following the same path. I've been on a snuff kick lately and I'm loving it. Just got
my first Mr Snuff order and already planning my second.

I was hooked at the second portion.

I dipped for a few years and I felt I got more nicotine from the snus although I know plenty of people will beg to differ with that and it was a much more even experience. This coupled with the fact that it doesn't destroy my gums made it a no-brainer. Initially I found it hard to not crave the sweetness and fullness of the dip, but the lack of pain and the stream of nic more than made up for that. I then went on a mission to try just about every snus avoiding the minty ones of course. I had a favorite and it got discontinued (N&J East). Boooooooo. Grov is where it's at though...I crave it. When I'm jonesin' for a snus no other can satisfy me properly except maybe a sterk due to the amount of nic alone.

Speaking of nic...I'm workin' on an 02 and I've got that nic-buzz now...it's going on nearly 30 minutes of head-swimminess. I can't remember the last time it lasted that long. It's a good thing for a Sunday morning.

I personally love ; Ettan , Generat, Oden's Kanel, Roda Lacket - all loose for me. :P

I do like portions too, but I can't see the real reason to use portions apart from when you're in public and not even then, lol.

DIP is too strong for me, I've ordered 40 cans for the sake of having them ... God knows when I'd be able to consume all of them.

If anyone wants to trade loose snus for dip (Copenhagen) let me know - I'll be posting this in the trade section ;-)
