    Snus like copenhagen

Hello all , new to the site and snus. I gave up a ten year cope habit and started snus. So far I love general Los, n&j, grov and general ekstra sterk. Any others that would be similar to cope?? Thanks to all for the great information on this site -- I'm learning more each day - jer

None of these are similar to Cope, in fact snus is nothing like the american dip...

Ditto. Give Oden's ES Original a try. Not like cope exactly but satisfying tobacco-y goodness and strong.

N&j is probably my favorite now. Im trying to settle on 1-2 flavors. Leaning towards the n&j and gen ekstra sterk. Next order i will try the Odens. Thanks for the info !!

Oden's slightly a longer cut ... but nothing like Copenhagen or any type of dip..

For me snus is completely different than dip.

Snus is different for me too. I stopped with the Copenhagen about 3 months ago. - snus from here on out. I know it's better for me than American dip. Like I said i will order some Odens with my next order next month.

Oden's Classic Extra Sterk Los and Extra Sterk Kanel ... they're both awesome... you'll love the cinnamon taste.

Knox, skruf, and Gotlands yellow are all good transition snuses (not because they replicate Cope) but because they are fuller bodied and more coarsely cut. I also would second the suggestion for Gellivare and Landstroms. They can be a bit messy at first but are snus made in the old school way.

The only thing I would suggest is to avoid trying to find a snus that is like an American dip. Instead, approach snus as a completely different product and let it stand on its own merits.

In the meantime, check out the Dipper's Guide to Snus. A lot of folks have added a lot of good info there that you might find useful.

You can find the guide here

General has an Original long cut, it's sold somewhere like Estonia, I like to try this. And I think being the US is the dip capital, a General Long Cut might be well recieved.
