Great site. So little about me im 22 yo guy from Finland, stopped smoking 1month ago with snus ..
At the moment i have few rolls of Knox lös in freezer but i have one problem: I can´t decide whether i want to handbake or use my icetool , not a serious problem but im really between those two..

Any opinnions / suggestions and such would be greatly appericiated

And if someone wants to suggest also what lös to buy next time i visit sweden feel free to do so, please

Knox los is easy to handbake is my opinion, use whatever method seems right. Oh and congratulations on quitting smoking although you did it using an illegal substance E.U. BS.

Hi Jumissa. Welcome to the forum. Congrats on quiting the cigs. You should try the Ettan and General los next
time. Two of the best los Snus you can get.

General, Ettan, Skruf and Roda Lacket and the easiest to handbake...

I'd say Offroad is also easy to handbake ... all the others can be handbaked easily .... apart from Oden's .... it has a slightly longer cut.

I do have some experience hand baking though. :-)

also, what i forgot to mention is tht i want to buy so called "budget" löses
because i have no intention to keep spending as much money on snus as i did on smokes :S tht was ALOT!

and also handbaking instructions, tips or whatnot are very welcome indeed wanna improve my technique as much as possible ( in case i some day wont be with my icetool ) and also because i kinda like handbaking ..

anyone got handbaking tips? pris size, shape, how to measure handbaked pris allways being same size etc. ? need advice here pls..

two-fingered pinch, index and middle finger against the thumb. mold the prilla in the creases of your palm until you get a rough brick or pyramid shape. Then smooth and flatten edges between fingers and thumb, then pop in. Some people hillbilly it by using the internal edge of the can to compress the prilla then pop in with minimal handwork.

I really prefer my icetool, less of a mess.

if i remember correctly there was some post of maintaining the icetool? cant fin it though.. mine 3ML alu one gets sticky and slide badly allready after one day usage -.- tips for this? thnx

Here's a good video on baking your prilla ..

I can do it 10 times faster ... in fact I don't even bake it to tight or give it any shape ... I pinch the snus and throw in under my lip ... it gets nicely shaped inside there...

I usually just press it against the can and then make it neat before I put it in, I use mostly portions though, knox is kind of coarse but it's still easy to bake for some reason.

If you want a budget lössnus I highly reccomend Phantom Classic and Phanton Classic Brown.

There are also some new snus you might be interested in. I can't vouch for them and I don't know if they will ship to Finland. Just another possible option.
