    Just saying hey, waiting for my order!

    Hey guys! I'm a new snus user, and just placed an order on northerner.com

    Thunder Frosted Extra Stark, Strong Portion 1 $ 2.95
    Northerner Boost, (6mg) 1 $ 4.17
    Jakobssons Icefruit, Portion 1 $ 3.54
    General, White Portion 1 $ 4.12

    Saw they were in the top 10 portioned purchased and I figured they'd be nice to try. and portioned just seems easier for a total noob.

    I found the world of snus when I was buying a pack of camels (smoking since I was 15) and found a free camel snus coupon. I picked out mellow, and figured I'd give it a shot. I enjoyed the sweet taste, but I didn't get a buzz like I was expecting, so I googled a bit and found this forum!

    Hopefully I can quit smoking completely while using snus. I hate the asthma related crap.

    holy crap northern has some fast shipping! It should be here on the 16th!

    Is it a problem that I am 18? It says someone needs to be 21 to sign for it...I mean, I guess my mother could. She will be displeased though haha

    I have never been asked for id from UPS, But then again I'm way older than 18 by almost 3 times... Man That even sounds odd and old... LOL

        Alright most people think I'm 25 so hopefully it goes well.

        And man, these camel snus portions get grosser every time I use one.

        Is it normal for the throat to burn and to have "niccups"?

          Just got my order in. no problem with signing! But I tried the icefruit and holy crap that is salty! I count stand it so I had to spit it out after 10 minutes. I feel like a total noob, but they all smell awful lol. The general mint was ok, but still too powerful for my new palette. hopefully I get used to all the tastes and stuff. my throat is burning and my stomach is kinda upset lol

            The symptoms of upset stomach ... sore lip ... light headeness and so on .. should disappear once you get a higher tolerance to nicotine.

              Fear not, jbrandona119, not all snus is very salty. I think there's a few notable ones that are very much so. It could also be something I got used to.

                Really enjoying the northern snus though. I think since it's mini portions they're easier tp handle and more enjoyable...so far lol

                  Yeah IceFruit is pretty nasty IMO. First person to disagree has to buy a minimum of 8 cans from me LOL.

                  I liked the Oomph/northerner/what_was_the_other_name? stuff for an minute, but it tastes like artificial sweeteners to me.

                  Go for some solid contenders like General, Ettan, Grov, Gotland's, etc. after you get used to it a bit.

                    I'm pretty sure in a few weeks I'll be loving the general. But it's just a taste shock I guess lol.

                    Make that 9 cans, because I don't think I'll be using IceFruit at all!
