I've never traded snus for money but I can vouch for the tobacco exchange. I haven't been burned once, in fact I've been pleasantly surprised every time with the generosity of the members there. Jagmass beat me to the General Locator but you should be able to find at least that in a local shop.
Check out the member exchange thread, see if you can't score some from a member here. I'd help you out but I just dumped most of my ovrstock into a box pass that's working it's way around the country
Actually, you do not have to be 21 to order snus in the USA. I am 18, and I had my parents sign for it. You could have someone from your college sign for it when it comes.

Yep this is totally accurate. I am 20 and I just received my northerner order yesterday! also try and see if you can find another snuser in your area, you dont have to worry about finding someone else to sign for it and you also can split shipping which is a life saver.

That is a good idea. The problem for me is smokeless is not popular at my college, tho we just had a smoking ban in some academic areas so it may become a bit more popular this year.
But most smokeless users I know (and there are only a couple) strictly use dip. In any case I can wait another half year until I'm 21, I'm also kinda hoping that the new Skoal snus is good becasue that may hold me over until then. In any case I am content with chewing tobacco for the time being.

Yea I had the some problem till I ran into someone on here who was in my area. I have heard the skoal snus is actually not that bad for American snus, and like was said earlier, General is popping up in quite a few gas stations and smoke shops. In my area its like 4 something a tin so its actually a decent price. I actually enjoy chew, I still have a few pouches of Redman Goldblend and Beechnut Moonshine laying around that I use occasionally.
general in my area is $6/tin locally, but you can usually work with cigar store owners and get them to give you a free can every 5 or 10. My tobacconist will usually let me have every 5th can free, which helps. Also, when they have the samples in stock, they let me have like 5 of the sample packs when I go in.
