How "discreet" is the shipping from these companies? I just recently switched jobs and am not able to be at home during delivery hours and would not be able to sign for it.

So if I had it delivered to my workplace would the person that signed for it be able to tell the contents of the package? They frown on tobacco use, but this is the only way I would be able to get it if I order online.

Welcome. See if there may be a local shop that carries some. Some places carry the General brand of snus, I just found some locally myself. This supposed person who got cancer, I don't think can be proven, many people get mouth and even lung cancer, they never even used tobacco. I think it's mainly genetic, and I think diet even plays a big role. But it's generally understood snus in 99% safer than cigs. And I think cig smoking and maybe alcohol drinking are connected with a high potential of mouth cancer than smokeless tobacco. The only negative I believe is gum wear. But I guess losing one's teeth is better than lung cancer from smoking. I think snus though is less abraisive than dip. I was using dip regularly for a while, Copen LC my fave, but I decided to quit, and I am just using snus. There is loose snus and portion. Currently I am using loose, I like the smell and taste more, though snus is used upper lip, and it may take a little getting used to, packing it and all.

Tom502, I checked and found some about an hour away from me. Bahhh, Religious towns (no tobacco shops) !!! Plus i would like to try more than just General, which is all they carry.

Anyway gonna try and make time to get some soon, but as far as my other question .........

I am never home to sign for packages...I just get the tag and schedule a time I can go pick it up. Usually I get it after I get home but their website gives you a five day window to pick it up.

Ordering from the US warehouse is pretty discreet. Anything from Sweden has a customs sticker on it.

Re: the discretion of the packages- There are not big red letters that say Tobacco. However, there are declaration slips that state the content plainly enough that anyone who cared to read them would know.

Thus, if you have a neighbor who would be willing to sign for it you might go with that option.............or monkey's suggestion about picking it up. You might also have it shipped to a local UPS store if there is one close to you.

Anyway welcome to the forum and keep us posted on how it is going. As a dipper for over 25 years I cannot begin to tell you how glad I am that I found snus...........never looked back.
