That happened to me to, with general wintergreen. It didn't get uncomfortable though, I was just really light headed and stumbling around the mall like wtf, lol. You will get used to it alot quicker than you would expect. Mini portions are a rip, but they serve a purpose. You can re-use portions too, especially after only a few minutes in. There is 8mgs of nic in a normal sized portion.

I have been using snus for over 3 years and my go to ultimate favorite is Skruf Stark. I never get a buzz..just a mouthgasm quickly followed by afterglow and happiness. I recently just got some General Longs and just this morning, I had an affair with one. He was very rough with me..he was one of those S&M freaks who got off on torturing me. That really doesn't seem right. A pack of cigarettes over 24 hours should make your nicotine tolerance levels quite high. High enough to be able to handle a Normal portion at least.
Marlboro Red averages about 1.2 mg of nicotine per cigarette.
A pack a day would net you a nicotine blood level average of 24mg a day.
I know when I mix caffene and snus I can sometimes get a reaction similar to yours. OR when I've had a little too much snus in a day. It's not a fun experience, so I don't mean to make you feel like you're a freak.
If mini portions work well for you, I'm jealous! Mini just doesn't deliver enough nicotine for me personally.
White portions shouldn't be any different though unless your reaction is an allergic one. Or you took the snus after a day of smoking.
If you like the salt flavor, you may like Ettan more than general.
General has a lemon pepper flavor profile, Ettan is just tobacco, smoke, & salt.
IF you do end up being a mini user, there are lots of different flavors in mini. Mini size is marketed mostly towards women so there are some really neat flavors that just aren't available in regular size.Comment
