I had the same problem for the first 2 weeks but with Thunder Frosted. Most likely it will go away and if it doesn't just change brands
Acid mouth?

That sounds weird to me. I notice that when I stick to some of my favorite brands without switching it up for a few weeks I can not taste them anymore. Now when I place my orders I make it a point to throw in some random snus that I can use occasionally so I don't become numb to my favorite flavors. The burning on the sides of the tongue is normal. Do not get scared, your tongue is not going to rot and fall of. This is due to the nicotine and the salt. This used to happen to me a lot with american "dip" but it was a lot worse with the dip. Snus does not contain the chemicals that American dip does to chew a hole in your face/tongue/cheek/gums to deliver the nicotine into your bloodstream. I have been using snus for two years and then some. My gums have thinned out a bit where I place my portions and every now and then I get the good ol "salt burn." Stick with the snus and switch it up a bit. If you have just switched over from smoking you should all so consider the damage that it has had on your taste buds. Other than that I hope you can figure it out and enjoy your snus that way that I enjoy mine
