    All Frosted is the same....

Well this may be too blanket of a statement but I have tried three styles under two brands (yet one manufacturer - V2) but they all taste more or less the same to me: Lots of menthol-like burn up front then very low if any taste.

    Thunder Frosted ES Portion
    Thunder Frosted Long +
    Offroad Frosted Portion

I am starting to get a slight sweet flavor from the Long+ if I really squeeze the portion up against my gums and switch sides of my lip away from the burn zone but there is just not much there.

Am I crazy/impatient/in agreement with anyone?

They're trying to keep the flavor consistent. The difference is in the nicotine strength and the bags shape. I suppose they're doing a good job at reaching their goal.
Frosted isn't a favorite of mine, but I do use the minis at work because they're one of the few mini 8mg portions available on the market. They serve a purpose but you'll never catch me using one outside of work.

FWIW I find a difference between Thunder Frosted los and Offroad Frosted los. The Offroad has a smoother flavor profile, while the Thunder is a little too bold. Although I prefer the nic hit from the Thunder.

I can't speak to the portions.

I think that is basically the idea, but i do detect a difference between OR Frosted los and Thunder Frosted los. I prefered the Thunder version because of the extra nicotiine and also found the OR los to be a tad bitter for my tastes. I really need to revisit Thunder Frosted los again soon, it's been a while.
I do like the Thunder Frosted ES portions as a good anytime go to portion. Good strength, smooth flavor that lasts for a while. Useful when stuck at 2 hour high school functions.

          I agree totally.
The Portions are basically the same, just different nicotine strengths, the lös however.... Is different. I honestly like the flavor of the Offroad Frosted Lös better than it's Thunder brother. It's just better, one of my favorite mints, especially since it's a lös.

Agreed, I think if they intended a different flavor they would have named it differently. I like the choice because offroad is a bit weak for me and regular thunder portions are a bit strong, longs are perfect. That is just portions though I have never tried the los.

Well maybe like I have experienced with other brands I need to just fight through the can a bit so to speak. I found myself reaching for an Oden's Kanel this morning and it is incrementally better than the last portion plus I didn't like the Jak's Mint too much at first but had my last portion today and wished I had ordered more.

I imagine at some point I will get to the place with these and others where there is no change to the taste profile...the portions taste consistent and I have made up my mind whether its a keeper or not.
