Damn! I tried to place an order several times last night and it would not accept my debit card. I tried a the store here on snuson.som and the same thing! I suspect it has to do with the processor of "Payex" and my card being in the US. This is frustrating. I looked in other threads/posts and not much clarifying info there....damn...i'd really like to finally get some real snus.

If you're using a Visa, my sympathies; I run into the same problem. Not a single site yet has let me use my Visa, and I've tried both the debit/checking card and credit card. I signed up for a PayPal Mastercard just to order snus! No issues with that card yet.

And another vote to try regular strength snus first! 8mg should be plenty, especially as you adjust to using it. I bumped my way up to strong snus for no good reason, and am going back to 8mg in my next order. I will say, a strong snus first thing in the morning is a glorious thing, though.

Although a bit better than Camel, and tons better than Marlboro, it really still is crap. And I just cannot get over the damn tampon-sized portions, waaaay overkill in that regard.

enojy: Yeah no site will take my visa card. I went on and bought an auction from premium parrots. I am getting ten tins. I am going to try a wide mix of original and strong. I hear ya on the 8mg should be fine but the extra kick of a strong first thing in the day sounds quite nice. Thank you.

Owens187: Yes, after trying all of these and in all flavors, skoal is the best one for me too. Yes I can imagine they are crap but I don't have anything to guage them by yet. Lol, dude, yeah the size of a tampon. It never really occured to me that real snus would be a smaller portion. That would be fine and dandy by me. Thanks.

HK11, lol, I understand your statement now. Well my first taste of swede snus, is well....different. The very first portion I tried was the N&J Crushed Ice xtra strong. It is nothing like american snus that is for sure. Not really sweet at all but I could feel the nicotine. Yes there is salt in there too. Like I have read many times before it takes some getting used to. Okay. I now have an Ettan original portion in right now and it is vaguely similar. I can see that most swede snus will be like this. I will not have to chain snus, multiple portions at a time however to get some nicotine satisfaction. I got a tin of Oden's Extreme portions that I will wait and try after I have settled into this "new flavor". Yes, no more ,super sweet, non nicotine feeling snus sounds fine by me. I will write back with some nubie impressions as my tastes evolve.

I bought a fairly large order my first time and was determined not to lose money so I persevered. Before I made it through a roll, I did a 180 and stopped tasting whatever it was that I thought was bad. It's sort of like when you first start smoking. Cigarettes never taste that way again after a couple of packs.

After a short while, you will be able to identify what you have in your mouth without even looking. While they taste the same at first, I assure you they are not

I can understand all you said on your initial thoughts. Lol, catpiss... Yeah I am not smoking and that is priority number one. I will hold on and wait for the flavor break through. I am getting some nic at this point at least.
