Hello everyone. Been snusing for a month, after quitting cigarettes with an e-cig; used that for about a year. Just can't seem to get away from nic, nor do I really want to, but I don't want to smoke or vape. I started with camel and marlboro snus and have now found general original portions here locally and this stuff is fantastic. A few questions, do most of the regular (original) flavor portions of other brands have the bergamot taste? Also, I am a real fan of the drip, are there some brands that are more moist than others?

Welcome and congratulations on quitting! Most but not all original portions will have a bergamot element to it. There are lots of different flavors out there, including many original varieties, so you have a lot of exploring to do. I am not sure about the drip part but I am sure someone will answer that soon. General's the most bergamoty of the brands currently available to Americans. GN is coming out with a bergamot lös I'm pretty excited about. You could try Olde Viking original. You have to order, but it's a great snus by a great maker.

I got a tryout box after my first General tin that I got local and it was the best thing. You get an array of flavors and strengths.... DO IT DO IT!

I appreciate the welcomes and suggestions! Ya I love the bergamot, unique citrus flavor with little if any sweetness, melds nicely with the tobacco and salt.

thunder berry drips like crazy and the nicotine level will blow your damn head off!

General Original seems to drip more than most (IMO)

Stay away from White Portions, and the lab series

Welcome Ease! Grov and Ettan are two classics without bergamot (at least that I pick up on). White portions drip less, but that is not an endorsement. I don't care for them, but to each their own. Some people love them, partially for that reason. Stick around, and enjoy. Cheers

Thanx for the help. Ya I know to stay away from the white portions, they were too dry at the onset an take about 20 mins to really get rolling for me. I got a can of General loose yesterday and had a fun time with it, though I can't beat the juice out of it with my tongue like a portion. Same flavor as the reg portion, just messier. Nice for in the morning or nite when I just need a little pinch, but not something for all day.
