Just wanted to say hey to all the forum members, and give a real brief on my snusery:

I was desperate to quit smokes. We found out we were going to have a baby, and I was determined not to smell like stale smoke when I held him. After a Gold Cup game in Tampa, a friend and I hit the Cigar City Brewery and a gentleman there offered some of the Marlboro Snus, so I gave it a try. Long story short, it led into the Swedish Experience. Locally, I was able to purchase some General OP and Mini Mint. What a diff!

Now a month plus in, I am building on my second order, grown very fond of loose, and really enjoy the forums. No smokes for over 3 weeks now, and I do not kid myself that it is unlikely to have occured sans snus. I started on SnusCentral, and found SnusOn via Nash, Snusify, and a few others that review products.

Thank you all for putting together so much useful information!

Yes, this is a great forum with even greater members.

For me, snus made quitting really easy, so stick with it!

One last thing, you need to put some Odens (Extreme or reg strength) in your rotation, trust me.... You will want a nice portion of Odens in when you are in that delivery room. : ))))

As is probably the case for most of you, smokes were no prob to put down. I had my "finally home from work" smoke for the first week after I started snus. Then one Friday, I went out to a restaurant, had a few drinks and had NO craving. It was awesome, and I felt accomplished! Now I don't even think about them... And if I do, a Gen ES kicks it in the jimmy.

Tim, congrats again man! I really can't wait to try out the odens, but fear it will not here timely. Tonight or very soon thereafter... I'll probably pack the whole can collection with me!

The most awesome thing about snus is that I CAN have a cig or two when I feel like it but I never have the desire to go back for my nic fix, give it some time and I'm sure you will be able to as well. You picked a great place to hang out, this place is DA BOMB!! And yes, drunken posting is quite common here, keeps things interesting lol.

Brian - I was heavy into high end RYO tobacco so I may choose to have one here and there eventually. No desire at the moment BUT you bring up a good point. Smokes ain't the go-to nic fix... Thank God! The last pack has been sitting in my glove box since my last one three weeks ago.
