New Snus User.

Hello everyone.

I am a long time marlboro smoking, trying to kick the habbit and hoping to do so with this swedish snus. I have tried the camel/marlboro snus that is available here in the states but it was not so good. A good friend of mine gave me a can of Nick and Johnny Strong and I really liked it, so I have placed my first order from buysnus.com which should be here on wednesday. UPS dot com says it only takes four days (including the sunday that I placed the order) for them to ship my snus from sweden, hopefully this is acurate.

I am wondering, what are some other snus that taste similar to the Nick and Johnny Strong ?

Welcome aboard and hope you like the other brands/variaties. I love nick and johnny and haven't really found anything that tastes similar. Awesome you are trying loose right away, at first it may be a little difficult but you'll get the hang of it.

Yes I am going to try the loose first I think. My friend gave me this icetool thing havent got to use it yet but it has me intrigued.

I have read good things about the skruf I think that is what I will try first.

You ate definetely on the right track then, skruf and Ettan are my favorite los. If you haven't yet check out the YouTube videos on how to use the icetool and all. It's as simple as can be. I'm different though where I don't inject the pris under my lip I just pop out the pris into my hand and place it exactly how I want it. You'll figure it out I'm sure.

I hope so brother. Have wanted to quit for years! I am just worried that I might end up smoking while I am snusing which defeats the entire purpose.

Nick and Johnny which you know about, General mint, Roda Lacket, General regular portion, goteborgs rape, jaks wintergreen are a few favorites.

Concerning your other question, smoke when ya need to, snus in hetween, after a while the snus usually wins for most of us. Most it takes a month or two. For me took a week, was hard to give up the first thing in the am cigarette but I let it go eventually. Right now I have an occasional cigarette for the hell of it but it's lost its appeal. Now one thing you'll miss is the quick nic hit with cigarettes. I've taken care of that with nasal snuff but thats a egole other subject ha.
