Noob question

I have a question about my shipment,

currently it is marked "Import Scan" on UPS tracking website, I have read online that this means they are going to hold it into customs? Is this true?

I am getting worried I wont get my snus tomorrow or maybe I will get hit up with fees/taxes?

So I am wondering how often do UPS shipments get held in customs or hit up with some sort of fees/taxes ? I ordered from buysnus.com shipping into NY.

Oh and it is in Phili Pa right now, it has been there for almost 9 hours, with no status update... the longest it had previously taken too update was 3-4 hours.

Don't worry TomePorks they will have it out to NY in the wee hours and it will probably be out for delivery tomorrow. Import Scan just means they are processing incoming goods from overseas per the usual. You won't get hit with fees or taxes.

Thanks for getting back too me guys the order updated at 4 in the morning, it now shows as Out For Delivery with a Scheduled Delivery time of
Wednesday, 10/05/2011, by 10:30 A.M.

Hopefully their time frame is correct as i'm staying home until I get my order then have to get into work. This is the first time ive seen UPS list a delivery time, are they usually on time or is that asking too much of them?

well my snus just showed up,

the two cans of Roda Locket and the can of ettan los were smushed and open, snus is all over the place now what a drag.

would buy snus replace these or am i just out of luck on this one?


Also my odens extreme cinamin los is not the cinamin its just normal extreme los...


is this shit common with buysnus?

well unfortunately I am not too happy, UPS got my snus too me on time, but buysnus.com did not package it well enough to stand UPS' abuse. It was just in a UPS bag, not even a cardboard box.

If they do not at least replace my can of odens that they sent me the wrong one for, I do not think I will buy again from buysnus.com what a shame as they have a nice selectiong.

I will keep this thread updated with the status of all this.

I took pictures of the cans , im going to send them to buysnus and will post them up on here too.

BuySnus.com emailed me back already, took less than two hours to hear back from them which is really cool. They are going to refund the three cans to my card, which kind of sucks as I really wanted to try the Roda Locket, however it is better than nothing. ( I did get a little taste, only a small bit did not hit the floor and liked the little bit I was able to try ) They have also told me that they will start to ship the packages better , "Again - please accept our sincere apologies for the damage, we will see to it that packaging is being improved." so this I am curious about, as to if they really will work on their packaging.

The can of odens, aparently is the correct one, it just does not say Cinnamin on it, which made me think it was the original. I guess they use the "59" instead of the word Cinnamin.

So looks like buysnus.com is good people afterall.

My friend gave me two cans of General Extra Stark Los today too, I am wondering, if someone maybe would want to trade me for a can of either the Roda Locet or of the Ettan Los as I really want to try these?

Turns out I had another problem with my order as well, they were supposed to send me Skruf ES Los, but they sent me Skruf Stark Los instead. They made good for it, but still not too impressed, a lot of problems on such a small order makes me a little warry to place a bulk order.
