Greetings from the midwest! The Quad Cities actually, if anyone is familiar.
I've been a lurker on this site since September, joined in November, and never got my confirmation e-mail. I was browsing today and noticed the quick reply box. Used it, and low and behold, I'm now official. My first post was about the snus that I hate! HA! Thanks to lsxkllr for his help getting my membership finalized. (PM's worked, but I couldn't post.... weird)
I won't ask any newb questions, won't waste your time. I don't need any coddling. I've tried almost every swedish match product and dig most of them. Prefer the white portions. Love how a whole can of swedish match white fits in my Ice Tool Slim Box. I switch between regular and strong portions throughout the day. A strong when I wake up and after meals, regulars every other time. My favorite is N&J white. I kinda like the .9 portion. It fits better. Not a lot of los yet. I made it through a can of Ettan with a prismaster and it was fine. I've got more, I just like portions right now.
Out of everything so far I love the aforementioned N&J white, Rape #2, Ettan portion, General long, and General long strong. Really digging these long portions. I like all the lab series too, just not in love. I could go on and on about what I like, love, meh and burn it with fire, but I won't.
I've used Northener for all my orders without any hiccups. Order on the weekend, it will be delivered to work on Thursday before lunch.. every time. Oh, I guess there was one hiccup. I wanted the Ice Tool slim portion can with a lid and they were out of stock. They sent my whole order without the can which was nice. I used the links they provide in your order or account or whatever to see if they had an eta. The rep responded by the next day saying they really didn't know, that it was up to the supplier. I responded back that I kinda wanted the regular slim can too. Again, responded the next day saying they had that in stock (not on there website though, strange). I said that was fine and they sent it right away. The portion can still shows out of stock. Anyone know if Ice Tool quit making these? Last time I checked, even Ice Tools website didn't show the full line of portion cans.
I used Buysnus (or Getsnus, I forget) with a friend and really liked that there weren't any stickers on the can. That was really the only advantage I saw. The cost per can was about the same as Northener, give or take a couple cents. This friend introduced me to snus. I let him get things for me in that order to fill in some gaps in my snus experience. This is how I discovered blue snus isn't my thing. Got a can of snuff too. Its a sandlewood something. Tried it a couple times. I'll revisit that later.
Anywho, that's me. You can call me Duff (if that isn't stepping on the other Duff's toes). I really like the community here, especially with all the humor and ribbing. I always get a kick out of PP, Eric, and Snus Dog. Maybe get in on one of those box passes some day.
