new to snuss and a ? about General

Hi, i just quit smoking a week ago and am using snus to help. I chewed a thousand cans of Cope. snuff as a kid and have a 2 questions about General snus.
I bought the original and white portions - is the original supposed to look like it allready been chewed? The white is all neat and in a spiral.
Also, why does the lid pop off like a little secret compartment under it?

Yea, the original portions are wet, and not neatly arranged. They also have superior flavor, and mouth feel imo, well next to lössnus anyway :^D

The little compartment is for used portions so you don't litter. Alternatively, you can put a couple portions of different flavor in there for travel.

You might want to try some los....but portions are good as well. Try a variety of snus and if you need to try some sterk (strong) snus to help with cravings.

Good luck! In a month or two you won't even be able to stand a cigarette. Once your brain gets used to getting its nicotine from snus if you smoke a cigarette it'll tear up your lungs, usually taste bad, and won't be satisfying.

If you used to dip Copenhagen snuff (good stuff btw, and based on an old snus recipe) I strongly recommend checking out los. You'll probably like it much more. It's finer than Copenhagen and has the consistency of play-doh but other than that use it just like cope but put it in your top lip. You might like the more tobacco-flavored snuses more than General, I know I do (though General isn't bad either). Grovsnus is the Copenhagen of the snus world: rich dark tobacco taste, smoky and salty. A lot of people swear by Ettans but it didn't completely bowl me over for some reason - a nice snus but not something I'd buy a roll of; I need to try it again maybe I got a bad tin or my palate needs to develop. Goteborg's Prima Fint is absolutely delicious, a sweet tobacco, doesn't get nearly as much as attention as it deserves. It was made in 1919 to compete with Ettans and for me it's the better of the two right now.

There was a Ettans special market trial somewhere in PA not too long ago... I think they said speedways in pittsburgh?
