    First Snus and Post!

Well just got my order from Northerner in today I purchased the following to get a general range of flavors to try, also intend on sharing with friends!
    • General Mint, White Portion
    • General, Portion
    • General, White Portion
    • Jakobsson's Wintergreen, Strong Portion

Started with the General Mint about a half-hour ago.

Not as much flavor as I expected but I now it slowly releases and gets better the more you use it, guess I am just to impatient/excited!

First thing I noticed is the buzz, been weened on camel frost for about two months now and man I miss that feeling

I will not open another can until I finish this one, which I probably will because I am too curious!

Overall I am about 50/50 on these, I know they will get better, need to start looking about locally for these as the shipping price seems to high, I feel, than what I am getting.

Well made it about half way through the General Mint, just was way to sweat for my taste, swapped it out of my 4 can stash for some General Original Portion, much better nice and peppery! Wish I would have ordered a can a of General loose, guess that will be next time!

          Welcome!

I too started with camel's and the transition takes a while. General mint's are really sweet.

Here is something cool to do though...

I alternate between general mint and another non-sweet flavor most days. It's kind of like mixing flavors as you go!

          Enjoy btw

If you can't find any local options, ordering online is only really worth it if you buy bulk and when there are discounts, which can be kind of a gamble if you're a new user, because of course you don't know if you'll like it or not, I second the motion of alternating cans, I like one strong and one regular open at the same time, usually a natural tobacco flavor and some other mildly flavored portion. Good luck and welcome!

              Welcome to the forum mate!

For your next order you might order a couple of starter boxes............ which will really give you a range flavors and then throw in a can or two of los.

That way the shipping will not be quite as bad.

Later you can do bulk orders..........which is more cost effective

              Regardless..................enjoy the adventure!!!

As above posters have mentioned, you should keep a stock of the ones with traditional taste and spice it up with flavored ones if you like it.

Having some trouble here, seems as soon as I start liking one a new flavor emerges that is very overwhelming and turns me off, is this normal?

Some flavors are more complex than others. I can't hang with most Swedish Match snus myself. Their flavor profile disagrees with me.

Jakkobson mint is a fantastic mint....I like all of their flavors. If you can get more varietyo in the Jaks locally try them.

                    Otherwise....online is the best bet.

Yea I plan on checking a tobacco store near me soon. The first general op was great, peppery and tasty, second was a little better but the third was insanely citrusy and I removed it after about 30 minutes
