Hey everyone My name is Aki and I live in the US, in Ohio. I am 21 and produce music and DJ as a hobby, and I'm going to school for computer science next fall. Anyway, I am new to Snus. I actually bought my first can 3 days ago after my friend told me he was sick of me smoking all the time, haha. To be honest, I am quite hooked. I love the stuff. I got a can of General White and Camel Snus Mellow. I'm not used to it quite yet, but I'm really enjoying myself, haha.

If you can quit all tobacco use whether smoking or snussing at the age of 21 then i would do that. If you try and find you can't manage: then happy snussing!

Trust me if I could've changed my habits, I would. I've been smoking like a chimney since I was 17, haha. But I haven't had a single cigarette since snussing and I've only had 5 pouches in a 2 day period So I think I'm doing well.

KWelcome Aki. I was hooked on cigs in my teens so I can see your point. Glad you found snus. I am well in my 40's and wish I knew about snus decades ago. How would you compare Camel to General? Many of us on here started with Camel but quickly switched to other snus like General.

Hey and if you are already down to just 5 portions in 2 days…………..see if you can go ahead and wean yourself off tobacco completely……….If not snus is by far the best option

Thanks for the welcome (; To be honest, general is more moist and more comfortable for me. It also gives me a better feeling all around. But I must say that I love the taste of Camel Mellow. All in all I prefer General though.

Nah all I can get around this area is General, Marlboro, and Camel snus. Otherwise you have to order online or travel about 3 hours to get some other varieties.

Welcone to the forum! Stay away from Marlboro...nasty snus. Bought a trial pack for a buck...tried one, and immediately spit it out, and threw away the rest. Absolutely terrible.

Thanks all The only thing I worry about is gum recession, because my teeth are in kind of bad shape since high school, even after regular dentist visits. I mainly use general white and general loose though.
