Well as of this morning I'm back on the snus train... I keep going back and forth... I'll do well for a two, maybe three weeks at a time and before i know it I'm smoking again without really realizing how it happened... back up to my old pack a day... i'll do that for a couple of weeks until I switch back to snus... for the life of me I'm not sure what keeps pulling me back to smoking... after two or three days of snusing I can tell the snus is giving me everything I need (the first couple of days are always a bit of transition) ... but after a couple of weeks I just a cigarette stuck in my head and have to have one... and then two... and ... All I hear on here is people being so successful switching...

Maybe give it time and go easy. It is obvious you want to quit, you might not be 100% ready. And going back and forth between snus and cigs is better than just staying with the coffin nails.

One if not several. Especially if you go for a while on just snus. In time you will figure out what the trigger is that is getting you to go back to smoking.

What type of snus are you using, and do you find that it's curbing your nicotine cravings? When I quit, I used Extra Sterk (Extra Strong) snus pretty exclusively in the first few months to make sure I killed any cravings I had. I didn't change my "routine" either...when I'd normally want to smoke a cigarette, I'd toss in a portion of snus.Comment
