The thing that sucks about getting into snus is the shipping cost. I try to order 3-5 rolls of 10 cans each order because it isn't much more expensive no matter how many cans you order from the sites that ship from Sweden. Once you get over the shipping rates, snus isn't that expensive. You just have to spend a lot at once rather than $6 a day.

General's Classic Blend and Nordic Mint are marketed towards Americans in the sense that the taste is tweaked to our American palates and General used Camel's metal tin 15 portions style. They are still mfg in Sweden. I really do enjoy the Classic Blend and I would enjoy if it were available locally.

Having never tried it can I assume that it is sweeter than normal general but still recognisable as general? When people tweak things to american tastes (i find), it usually means making it sweeter or less savoury. US Coca cola vs EUropean coca cola, the US one is way sweeter than the european one, noticably so! Pepsi is the same. US beer I find very sweet compaired to beer over here, US bud tastes sweeter than our bud (but its still piss water lol).

Northerner charged me $13.56 shipping and $8.34 tobacco tax, and my order was only $25.93! I know I should make bigger purchases but I just wanted to try the mini portions since they don't have them at the shop here, and next time I'll make a larger order, otherwise if I end up using regular or stronger portions I'll just buy them locally.
Welcome and congrats on stopping the smoking damage.

Think about ordering the try out packs, or mix, from both snuscentral.com and buysnus.com. You get a variety of snus to try and there is no better way to figure out which ones work best for you.

Be sure to check out Odens Extreme as well as the high nicotine is a lifesaver when giving up cigs.

Just concentrate on using snus instead of cigs or an e-cig and eventually you will be snus only. Then you can slowly decrease the nicotine levels of the snus you are using.

Make a US$120 order...the best gift you can give yourself and, frankly, you deserve it just for switching to e-cigs alone.

        Good luck!

Skell18: The Classic Blend doesn't seem sweet to me. It just lacks the bergamot of the typical General flavor. Definitely you can taste the General taste, but it is just tweaked. That's the best way I can describe it.

How do you keep your snus above the gum line? No matter how much I try and jam it up there it still makes contact with the gum line and my teeth and I tend to mess with it a lot so I'm worried it may irritate my gums.

your lip will stretch a bit over time, and it'll start to fit better. I wouldn't force it. You might end up hurting yourself.
