I find that the Prismaster makes way too big a prilla, even when you reverse the mechanism.
Learn to hand bake,it isn't too difficult to master in a short time.
As for Oden's los,I find it a bitch to hand bake compared to General and Thunder extra sterk los.
It does tend to break up rapidly, even without a beverage.

      happy new year roo!

i have since got exponentially better with two simple methods; 1) wetting my fingers before hand baking (... and putting the prismaster on hold) < the moisture on the fingers seems exponentially helpfull and 2) being less anal about the "form" of my pris both when forming and in the lip (having watched swedes on youtube lump together a massive pinch of snus and quite literally dump it in).

i wish people would less so proclaim such a high standard though, for us noobs, at first it appears somewhat unattainable!

coffee and nicotine in the morning is one of life's great pleasures (so says a depressive addict), looking forward to mastering the cup of coffee and los! (...although less so mastering the search function).

i also DO NOT want a "pocket", having read that i am now thinking of alternating up, down (jaw), left and right.

      bugger be me.

      thanks for all the help!

One reason for the problem might be the fact, that you eat shit for breakfast

The pocket forming is inevitable, once you get it it also holds position much easier and doesn't make your lip bulge I use a 3ml icetool, I learnt to handbake with Ettan and Prima Fint, Prima Fint was a godsend as it was so easy, then I got an icetool and never looked back, they are a worthy investment and you can control the size of the prilla.

I meant no offence, lots of people like me have learned this way in the video, icetools are great if one can afford one,I can't ATM.
              Look up ghetto icetool,I made 2,a 3 mil and a 5 mil.....
To me the 3 mil was more practicable....
              Best o luck

For the OP with the rude name ...

The pocket is, as Skell says, inevitable if you are going to be using regularly. It is not dangerous unless you keep trying to stuff more and more in there which (will lead to problems!) - and it does allow you to snus without looking like you've had a stroke!

The tip is ... STOP PLAYING WITH IT - learn to leave it alone and to relax your upper lip muscles (moustache area) - just use the lip itself to keep the snus in place with gentle pressure. Once you have mastered this you can get back in there with your tongue and play with it to your hearts content, but any pressure you put on the pris will squidge it and allow saliva to mix with the snus - relax and that won't happen.

One more tip I found useful when starting was to slightly dry your upper lip inside before putting the pris in - don't do this with white portions though! If your lip is dry with white portions you end up with the paper welded to your inner lip and I've even had bleeding trying to separate the two.

So as I say ... enjoy snusing ... it's sexy and family friendly ... what's not to like?
