    snusing at the gym?

does anybody else do this? I use around 2-4 portions a day. I love the hell out of each one. Is it healthy/safe to pack one in before a run?\

I feel that it may affect my body negatively. A complete nicotine buzz, I often get a fast heart beat that is enjoyable. With a run, I feel that it may body for my heart

I snus at the gym alot. I usually put one in for my long walk across campus and keep it in for awhile while at the gym. As long as the snus doesnt give you a buzz/sickly feeling why not if its what you want. I know everyone reacts differently to snus though so you should atleast be a little cautious. I didnt find it effected me in any way. The only setback is i tend to drink A LOT of water between sets at the gym and it usually washes the flavor away pretty quickly

Nicotine does cause blood vessels to constrict. This can reduce oxygen flow to the mussels and make your cardio less efficient. However, I am not sure this will be noticeable unless you are doing a very intense Olympic quality training regiment
I work out with snus, run, hike in high altitudes and don't think twice about it

If you are training (verses just working out) you might monitor your performance

Otherwise, I would just see how it goes.........if it detracts, stop.....if not, do what you want
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

The only buzz i ever felt from snus was when i crammed 2 thunder raw's in on my last day of work from a shitty job. As far as stamina its pretty hard to tell. It's hard to find a routine when you're in a packed college campus gym. sometimes a bench isnt available for long periods of time and you just have to do something else. Not to mention the wait times now with the last few remains of the news years revolutionists. Just from an observational standpoint i dont find any workouts to feel better/worse with or without snus. Unless you're on a really strict training regimen it wouldnt hurt to give it a try once would it?

i use about the same amount of portions a day, and though i don't goto the gym i work a job thats very physical(rail way) that lifting 100+pounds. I find after working damn hard a snus can almost make me feel "spacey" Normally i won't snus once after i hit the 10 hour mark at work

I don't use snus when working out because it seems to exacerbate cotton mouth for me. I haven't noticed any changes in performance when I have used it during a workout, but it's so infrequently that I've used it while working out, probably couldn't tell one way or another. As with anything, only you know you, so try it for awhile and see how it goes.

I think it depends on the exercise. I work out on most days, and I don't ever use snus while in the gym, mainly because I drink so much water while there. I'm sure I'll give it a try one day though.

However, I was kayaking in Sweden last year (where I discovered snus), and I got through quite a few while spending long days out in the Baltic Sea

For me there is no way, I have been having to clear out the recent snus and abstain from them 30 minutes prior to the gym. Now I do have a sensitive heart and it has a strong effect. I do like one right after working out.

I tried it once, and while it was kinda nice feeling the runner's high and the nicotine buzz at the same time, I prefer to abstain from nicotine while I work out, and pop one in after.

I always have one right before working out, but I'm not sure it is healthy to have one in if your work out is intense; especially if you combine caffeine with it. I don't know really what could happen but the stimulants combined with the exercise will send your heart BPM's a lot higher than normal. If you are older I imagine this can cause some serious consequences.

So yeah, I play it safe, but I can't resist having one before.

I tend to avoid snussing during a workout session (just to play it safe).

Post-workout, however... I will not hesitate to pop one in.

I usually have one in while working out.....however……...I am thinking of holding off until I'm done

Nicotine restricts blood vessels and so can adversely effect performance......now is that impact significant or even noticeable.........that’s what I want to see
