    New To Snus... Comments...

Smoked for 25 years... Used bandits to quit smoking. Migrated to skoal/Kodiak. 13 years of dip and i'm ready for a change. Decided to give Snus a go...

Tried the teabags... Camel and General US versions. Really weak. Tried the real ( Round Can ) General pouches. Again way to weak.

Next came the General Loose. Gold Can. Much better. Taste was good and nicotine was satisfying. Picked up Odins Extreme and will try it this weekend after the General is all gone.

As a dipper there are a few things here I don't get... The upper lip thing. I saw the vid on youtube of the guy rolling the chunk in his hand. Now your supposed to put that in your upper lip and somehow not look stupid with a large knot bulging out? Lower lip is discrete. I have folks that have known me for years and have no idea I dip.

I usually don't spit and swallow the excess. Been doing it for years with Kodiak with no health issues. Okay to swallow this stuff right? No trots or other weirdness?

Okay to doze off with this in your mouth? Dip was a big no no for dozing off ( Wake up hours later with burned lips ).

After a week now my gums feel much better... have to say that's a good thing.

Well so far so good... Really like the product.

You can upper or lower lip snus, its traditionally used in the upper lip, you don't need as much as you do with dip, also you don;t need to make a huge pris of loose especially if you use a stark or extra stark, it ends up molded to your gum so doesn't bulge, when you first use it you always think you have a huge bulge everyone can see, I am yet to meet a single person who notices I have a snus in, loose or portion.

Yes swallowing the juice is fine, another of the benefits of snus, no spitting. A lot on here sleep with snus in at night so no issue with sleeping with one in.

    Welcome to snuson

I put way up high towards back side. Traditionally they are trying to avoid salivating by using the front uppers. But you won't have to worry. Makla Platinum is worth looking in to for strength. But also the extra strong snus is great
