Bigger buzz from General reg strength than strong/extra strong snusses?

I seem to get a bigger and longer lasting buzz from General Wintergreen than I do Thunder Cool Orange extra strong or Jakobsson's Melon strong.

Is this because General is a white portion.. or ? I can't figure it out. It gives me the most strong and satisfying buzz out of those two other snusses.

It might be due to a difference in the Ph levels between the brands. An 8mg snus with less Ph will mean a slower nicotine release. The same 8mgs but with a higher Ph level will mean a faster and stronger release (i.e. more free nicotine per portion)

Anywhere I could find the info on the popular snus brands and their products?

And are you saying that General Wintergreen has less Ph so it has a slower nicotine release? It is white portion..

No right the opposite........I am saying that it is possible that the Wintergreen gives you a bigger buzz because it has a higher Ph level than the other two and thus more free nicotine.

Remember Ph is necessary to release the nicotine in oral tobacco. Without it you would basically just have damp leaves. The higher the Ph the more nicotine that is freed (released) for absorption.

Regarding a breakdown of the Ph levels by snus brand..........you may be able to find this info............... but it will take digging through the health reports prepared by researches for government hearings/studies. These reports are in the snuson health section. They include the different ingredients and levels for several brands. However, I am not sure they will cover General Wintergreen or the two Jakobssons. I don't remember seeing either mentioned (but it has been a while since I went through those reports).

Another option is that you could do a google search for the ingredients of each brand and see what that turns up.........I know I have seen breakdowns of various brands posted here....but again it has been a while.

But in the end........it all seems like a lot of work to go through just because one snus gives you a bigger buzz than another.....unless there is a specific concern you have
