How often do you snus?

I was wondering how often and for how long you guys snus?

I am currently using general and find that I keep it in for about an hour and a half to 2 hours I try to take a little break in between but general about 20 minutes is about it before I put in another one, is it normal to chain snus like this? Or am I using a bit too much, I am coming off of cigarettes by the way.

On a typical day I'll have a prilla or portion in for about an hour then go to nasal snuff for a couple of hours in between. It changes to more snus than snuff if I am having some beverages. I sometimes substitute dip for snus when I have a good supply on hand. At first I had a snus in at all times but I find snuff enjoyable as well. I'll also fall asleep with a portion in, it happened once with loose and made a mess of my pillowcase. I got the heck for that one.

Well, good to know then that's about how I've been doing it, I take some breaks but about 90% of the time I've got a portion in.

One fresh snus about every hour with a few seconds between the switch. I vape as well.

I start my day off with a pinch of loose and let that be for about 90 minutes...then I go for about an hour without anything. If the inside of my lip feels wrinkled I will use snuff for a few hours..I usually return to a pinch of loose after lunch and again let it sit for 90 minutes to 2 hours. After dinner is also a time I use loose snus..so maybe 3-4 times per day.

I will hang on to a prilla until is starts to dissolve which can be as much as 3 hours if I am really focused on something else. I switch out between snus and snuff. I love snus for it's constant trickle of flavour and nic and I use snuff to give my mouth a chance to recover and because snuff is really wonderful. Hey there Crullers and Snuff House folks!

I go through a can of snus in about 6-8 days whether it's portions or loose. I love portions for the convenience and tidiness but find the portion material actually can irritate my gums more than loose. This may also be because portions don't fall apart I just leave them in longer so the salt has more time to contact my gum line.. Loose just fits the gum line so much better. It really cuddles the gums.

The portion material tends to dry out my gums and can lead to gum recession, which is why I switch it up with snuff. I like my teeth and gums to be as healthy as possible. I do on occasion treat myself to dip or chew. I may use 3 cans of dip per year and 1 pouch of chew per year. I have yet to try plug and twist but could also see that being something I would enjoy. The occasional can of Oliver Twist crosses my path too.

Whatever amount feels right is fine - I have heard of people using snus as briefly as a few minutes per portion a couple times a day, or as much as 2 hours a portion, all day long, sometimes while asleep(??)

8 portions a day of general white original. i put one in 8am,10,12,2,4,6,8,10pm sometimes more depending how i feel all they have around here is general white and original i love general white original good with beer.
