What strength.

Ok to clarify the meaning. I'm very new to suns and I don't understand the strengths of the different kinds. A friend sent me some different flavors, and if my old wore out memory serves me, it was all extra strong.
My only attempts with Swedish suns have been the general brand.
If someone could please explain how to tell strength of snus it would be a huge help.
So far All I'm familiar with is e-juice. That one I understand.
So please help a newbie out

Normal snus that doesn't have any modifiers in the name is typically 8-10 mg nicotine. Strong, stark, or sterk is generally 10-15mg nicotine. Extra strong/stark/sterk is 15-20mg nicotine. Extreme or any other "real big" modifier is >20mg nicotine. Those are general guidelines, and there'll be variability between manufacturers.

Thanks to all of you. It means a lot to new members when they join up and see the warm welcomes. I did do a bit of research yesterday.
Got up early like always and had some spare time. Found some zip lock bags that were the perfect size to store individual tins in. Placed all of them in the deep Freezer and am still trying to decide what to try first. I got a bit of nic sick over the weekend using General mint. Guess I'm just a tad gun shy at this moment. But still very curious about the suns. Thanks again for the warm welcomes.

Hey, tnt - I saw you joined here over on the ECF forum. You'll find these guys know everything you could need to know about snus!
Some of these guys vape as well, and there's a little subforum here for that.

I haven't tried the regular strength Thunder or Odens (only had the extra strong versions), but in general the Thunder line has the most brutal nicotine hit for me out of the ones hitt sent you. I'd save that one for the nastier cravings.
I really like the Odens vanilla (though mine is the 'extreme' version ). And the 05 as well, though I found the taste of theLAB series took a bit more time to grow on me.

What's your nic level in vaping? I cut all my liquids down to 6mg/ml when I started snusing. I use snus and snuff for most of my nicotine, and the pv covers the hand-to-mouth action and the blowing clouds.

Thanks. I use between 18 and 24mg juice. Got a nice batch of WTA that I try and go with around 18mg with. Regular NET's and juice is always 18-24 mg. I only buy juice from 2 vendors. Both supported by ECF. And really good.

And one lesson Hitt confirmed was snus + empty tummy = not good.

For me, the best snus is after a meal... but I keep one in most of the day regardless of the situation.

Hummnm may have to try that. After all I will admit im ignorant about snus. With vapor yes I'm good. With snus. Well that's why I'm here. Bought a roll of 6 General mint white portions today. Had the cash at the time. Paid like 21-23 usd. Got some butane , flints and some extras for building coils.
Really don't know if this was a bargin or not. Thinking the odens vanilla may get thawed out soon.

It's an ok deal if they are the round tins with 24 portions. Not so good if it's the 12 portion oblong tins.

Yes. It was the round tin. 24 portions. First thing I did was place each tin in a ziplock bag and then in the freezer.
At least I'm learning something here about storage

I think trying to make comparisons between vaping, smoking and snus is a mistake. It's good to know how much nic you're getting, but it's also just as important to understand the delivery system.

So if you take a normal 8mg/g portion - it's 1g in weight so has 8mg of nicotine in it - but if you have it in your mouth for 30 mins (average use) it will probably only release between 1-2mg of nicotine slowly in to your system. Making it deliver a similar amount as a full strength cigarette - but over a much longer period which is why snus doesn't give you that hit - even though you might be taking in more nic.

I hope that makes sense ... Btw I don't vape so can't comment on that so much.

hello everybody :-) as a newest newbie I'd like to greet all!
About vape strengh: I vaping because of illusion of the smoke,I guess that the liquids dont release so much nicotine as its written..I was a chainsmoker(3 or more packs/day) but two month ago visiting Texas I met snus, became my favourite!!! and 10 pcs cigs/day!!!
