I'm new here and new to snus. I've been a smoker for 20 years and frankly, I'm tired of being winded when I do anything physical. I've now been cigarette free for 24 hours, which is the longest I've gone without a cigarette in 20 years. I haven't had a single craving, thanks to the General Classic Blend I've got tucked into my cheek. Unfortunately, I don't have a huge selection to choose from here in Tennessee, but I like the General quite a bit. I'd love to try some of the other brands, but I can't really afford the high shipping costs. I do have some Oden's Xtrem on the way (I was a HEAVY smoker), so I'm looking forward to trying it to see if I like the higher nicotine level. Anyway, I hope to add something to the forum and hear any advice and tips you all may have.

Welcome! The biggest tip I can give is try everything, even if you don't think you'll like it. Also, if you don't like something, stick it in the freezer, and try again in a couple months. You may find you like it better than you thought.
Shipping sucks, but it's still better than the cost of cigarettes. Once you figure out what you like, you can buy big when the vendors are running specials, and it ends up being quite reasonable.

Welcome to the forum mate.......relax and let the snus do it's thing.
Also, know that your taste will change....so don't throw anything away....put it in the freezer and revisit it in a few months
Also.....we all bemoan the high shipping........but my bet is the totle cost of snus still comes in well below the cost of a heavy smoker......regardless......I would consider it an investment in your health and your family
Anyway keep us posted and let us know how it is goingingWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers
