Hello! New Snusr from the UK

Hi all.

For the last 6 months I've been off cigarettes and have been vaping instead and now run my own online vape store. Last week I got curious about snus so ordered some portion and loose from snusline and an 3ml ice tool from northerner. It arrived this morning so I opened a can of portions Offroad silver I think and placed it under my lip, feels weird at first but soon get used to it. Next I tried 2 clicks of loose Offroad frosted. The pris? Held together fine but it did sting/burn a bit. Is this normal?

yes the sting/burn is quite normal, it is just salt and nicotine making contact with mucous membranes..... it means its working! and after a while the sting/burn is something you come to appreciate . Everything else you have described sounds normal apart from your order from northerner only taking a week to arrive!

I guess it is the same with e-cigs........try a variety .........there are a lot of great products out there

and yes with the starks and extra starks (i.e. strong and extra strong) the higher nicotine tends to burn a little

Welcome to the forum Steve - there's a fair old gang of us in the UK on here.

Don't worry about the lip burn! As others have said - you'll miss it once you become de-sensitised! Some brands even contain chilli extract in order that you can 'feel' the snus more strongly.
