When to spit it out??

Hello all. My names frank for North Carolina USA. This is my first day trying to snus instead of smoking. In using camel snus right now because it is all i can find. I was just wondering how long do you leave the snus in your mouth? Like how do you know when it's done? Thanks for the help!

Welcome to snuson! Anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours is the norm. I personally keep them in for about 45 minutes to a hour. Pretty much when the flavor runs out its time to go, unless im busy and forget about it.

Have you been to the general snus website at all? They have a store locator and it is a far better product than camel. Im in SC and there are a ton of places that carry it, id imagine NC should have a few retailers near you.

www.generalsnus.com is the site, and wintergreen i awful, seriously. Id reconmend original, white, and the mint is tasty.

I've recently noticed that if I leave the snus in for to long , anything over 45 mins or so , I start to feel weird. Jittery and anxious ...... Strange. Anyone else get this?

Not me. I can leave it in all day long and the only problem is that most portions turn bitter after an hour or so.

That domestic Camel snus was done before you even put it in! I recommend quickly obtaining Swedish quality snus stat...!

I'm with Whalen. I think I lasted about 17 seconds with that crap. Yuck.

You could leave it in all day but after about 30 minutes the nic is gone for the most part. One could get more out of it, but at what cost? It won't hurt you though.

Right, but as they say Ignorance is bliss. I thought that the Camel Mellow was pretty good till I tried Swedish Snus.

For me, some snus portions go 45 minutes and they are done while others last two hours, it all depends on the product and my taste buds.

Well, I was a hardcore snuser for years before I parted with a free coupon to get a can of US Camel, And by then, I was quite the fan of Swedish Camel snus....so, it was a big letdown and it actually made me sad, mad, and to wonder what they were thinking.

I used camel a few times when it came out and i had to fly. They served their purpose for holding me over. Kinda wished i looked at bit more into snus at the time but to be honest I really wasn't interested in quitting smoking then either

Having used Swedish, before Marlboro and Camel arrived in U.S. Shops, I remember my excitement, then the WTF disappointment when I grabbed some Marlboro. I had a coupon. I should have patched my kite with it.
