cutting open portions

Hi, I use to dip back in high school and I would just hillbilly pinch some kodiak, skoal, copenhagen longcuts. I don't like baking prillas. Is it possible to cut open the snus portions and hillbilly pinch it because I like to have control over how much I dip?

I suppose it's possible, but it's not cost effective. For example, with General you get 24 1 gram portions. If you get General los, you get I think 42-45 grams total. So you get a lot more bang for your buck. If you don't like baking prillas, which is totally understandable and I don't either, you should get an Icetool or Prismaster. The latter being very very cheap. Just press it into the los snus, adjust to the size you want, and press it against the lid or your hand to compress it into a prilla instantly.

One other thing I would want to point out is - you probably won't have much success putting it in your lower lip like regular american dip. Snus is ground so fine it has the constancy of mud. Much finer than fine cut. So you'll probably have it all over your mouth really quickly. There are some good guides on here on how to make your own Icetool if you're on a budget. I think you can do it with a syringe for like $2.

Thanks, but I just prefer hillbilly pinching because I don't like packing a tight wad in my lip. I prefer it to be looser and I also don't like carrying a prismaster or icetool when I'm outside.

Do you find a normal size portion is too big? If so have you tried minis or slim portions yet?
Too small try some GN snus or a maxi portion.

I think it's been covered before that portion snus doesn't work well as Los for one reason or another. Something about how it holds together.

Oh, well I also want the most good snus flavor for the cheapest amount of money. Mini portions don't give you enough snus and nicotine, but los snus also don't come in many flavors. I want something like Oden's Vanilla Extreme or Thunder Extra Strong Coola, so I can cut it up because they have a lot of snus and give a lot of nicotine compared to mini portions.

You could always just get a pretty basic loose snus and add your own flavour to it. I know northerner sells all types of different bottles of flavour.

Roda Lacket is a pretty good Los. It gives the fig/fruity flavor with the tobacco flavor. Snusline.com has more of the flavored Odens in Los, but overall there just isn't the market for snus companies to make flavors in Los.
