I love tobacco.. I smoked cigarettes for many years, started feeling the effects, and quit. I couldn't do without nicotine though , so I tried other forms of tobacco. I now smoke pipes and cigars occasionally, started nasal snuff, and have now had my interest in snus reach the peak of trying it out.

I have placed my first order through mysnus.com, and am expecting it within a few days. It consists of:

If Snus was legally available in the U.K. the tax would go through the roof,it wouldn`t matter if it`s a safer alternative.
The price of cigarettes in the U.K. is ridiculous,i was down to 10 a day when i quit,and the brand i used to smoke are now £5.03($7.86 - 67 SEK) for a pack of 10.
I do 3 portions of Snus a day,so a can lasts me a week,and a can costs me £2 approx.
The government would lose too much money,if it were ever to be legal to sell in the U.K..

Three portions would last for two to three hours for me ;-). But I don't use smurf diapers, I use about 100 gram of loose snus a week. A homemade 2 kilo batch last for six months. When I eat or sleep is the only time I don't have snus under my lip. The N-vitamin is powerful stuff ;-)

I`m still new to Snus,and the 3 portions are Thunder extra strong,so i`m not skimping on vitamin N.I`m sure my tolerance will increase in time.Although i did have a can of Phantom blue portions which i liked,and satisfied my craving,so i will be getting more Snus`s with lower a mg per g in the future.
I`ve not tried los yet,but i will put a couple of cans in my next order.

Snus wouldn't be taxed in the UK, it is classed as snuff if you are bringing it in from abroad, snuff does not attract any tobacco tax because they can't prove its harmful (in a nutshell). As it is not chewing tobacco, but moist snuff, if it was ever legal to sell here,minder current legislation it wouldn't attract tobacco tax, only VAT.

Maybe i`m just cynical l.o.l.,and would expect our mp`s to whack the tax up on it.
So VAT would add 40p to a £2 can,i would be happy to pay that if it meant i could just walk into a shop and buy it over the counter.
