I just wanted to introduce myself to the snus community
My name is David (LA Dodgers fan) and reside in Orange County CA.
I decided a couple of weeks ago that I'm going to quit smoking (1 pack a day smoker for 15+ years). I have a 9 month old baby boy and knew it was time, but man was I worried I couldn't quit.
I did a lot of research and found out about snus (never heard about it prior to this search) and decided this was the route I would go.
I started out with Camel snus and it did the job but didn't pack enough "punch"...I wanted so badly to try swedish snus. The snus locator website didn't help much because I went to a couple near my area and they didn't have any. This past Sunday, I went to fill up at a local gas station and had to go inside because the card reader at the pump wasn't working. Thank god, because when I entered, there was a General snus refrigerator!
I got really giddy and got General original portion! Wow, sooooo much better than Camel snus! I finished the original portion so I went back today and got a pack of original and white.
I'm proud to say I'm smoke free for 2 weeks and 1 day now...not sure if that would be the case if I didn't discovery snus.
