Hi all! I'm a Lady-Snus- Newbie from Seattle, Washington. I've been snusing for about 6 months and loving how its helping me cut down on the cigarettes. I'm down from about a pack to pack 1/2 per day to about 2 to 4 cigarettes a day! I'm enjoying snus a lot, and I look forward to learning a lot and hanging out here.
Hi there Lassy, welcome to SnusOn....
Cool ytube videos...
Hi all- I am new from Idaho (originally from Massachusetts) I used American snus to quit smoking and recently started on the Swedish snus. I love it. Never going back!
Welcome @Riggins44. Congrats on getting off the cigs! Snus has been a very welcome (and tasty) switch from cigs for me, and I hope for you too!
Thanks again everyone.
Yes, the smoking. Over the years I tried gum, patches, books, audio tapes, beating my head against the wall, and dancing around a campfire, but nothing worked. You know the scene in 'Meet the Parents' where Ben Stiller is chewing 10 pieces of Nicorette and still smoking anyway? That was a pretty good imitation of me. Finally I tried Skoal long cut chew which seemed to take off the nic edge, but then I started having horrid heartburn from it not to mention my dentist gave me an embarrassing lecture; somehow he knew by whatever damage it was doing to the inside of my mouth. Eventually I started on the various American snus brands which worked without the side effects, but they are not really satisfying in all reality. Since I discovered the real Swedish SNUS it's been fantastic, actually enjoyable. To be rid of the smoking is awesome in so so many ways. I no longer feel like a social outcast, it's saving me a good deal of money better spent elsewhere, and most importantly I just feel better overall health wise. And to finally slay that dragon....
Anyway, so far I'm mostly scanning through the older posts and threads on this forum, a lot of interesting information and people here. I'm very much looking forward to exploring different types of SNUS, so far I found a couple I like and have not ventured from those as of yet.
