Hello,

soon to be 21 - December 29th, anyway.. any Canadian/Ontario members here?

I'm a regular smoker but I find smoking my cigarettes (John Players - Rich Flavour) is starting to effect me I'm hacking up crap in the morning.. anyway I'd like to try dipping & never got into it. there's a product I'd like to try [I'm in maple/vaughn] called DuMaurier Snus Fresh Mint. But I haven't been able to find any!!!

I've been scanning the newbies section.. I got the basis of dip/chew/snus & all that .. just anyone here from Ontario who can help me find where to buy it!!

I'm not sure if you can buy snus in Canada... I am aware of http://www.snusdistribution.com/ but it's only for the U.S .. just a few states.

Du Maurier Snus is a smokeless tobacco product launched by British American Tobacco exclusively for the Canadian market.

Probably it shouldn't be that hard to find it in Canada... (I personally haven't even heard of it)

I'd recommend http://www.northerner.com/ for the largest variety of snus out there... fast shipping... Not sure how the taxes work for Canada ... but it's worth a try.

New to Snuson. Been lurking for a few weeks. Snuser in Ohio, snusing for about 9 months. Still working on quitting those last 3 or 4 smokes a day. Anyway, the saying is "birds of a feather" - seems to be a ton of great snus discussion going on here, so wanted to take part, learn more. Anyway, as all snusers - been through all the brands - all the flavors - and have honed my buds - primarily a portion and an SM guy; Long Sterk is my favorite, but Ettan, Grov, Ekstra Sterk, Lab01 are also in my rotation. Basics.

Just thought I would drop a newbie post before I chimed in anywhere else or looked to trade, etc. Great forum.

Yeah! Same here.... Those last 3 or 4 smokes can be a bitch to get rid of... Try some nasal snuff to snuff them out when you get a chance....

Hey all! Im a fairly new to snus...well I should say new to REAL snus haha. I started using camel snus about four months ago to help me quit smoking. About three months ago I was in a speedway right near where I live in ohio and I saw they had general snus! So far iv been snusing for three months and haven't even thought about going back to ciggs. So far my main go to snus is general wintergreen but I just ordered jakobsonns wintergreen, jakobsonns icefruit, general onyx, and goteborgs Rape No2 from northener.com. they are supposed to come tomorrow and im pretty excited about trying a few new brands. If anyone has any sugestions on a good snus id love to hear it! I also am wanting to try some los snus and see how that goes!

Welcome toddzilla and congrats on snusing your way smoke free! It's been almost 2 years since I quit using snus and I haven't wanted a cig since.

You picked good ones, the Jakobbson's Wintergreen is my favorite and better than the General Wintergreen (it's good too but not as good the Jakobbson's). The other ones are also good (well not a fan of the Ice Fruit but the others I like).

Keep up the great work and hang around here, lots of great users and interesting threads.

Hey thanks guys! I look forward to gettin to talk with some fellow snusers, so far I have yet to actually meet any other snus users in my area. The first tin of snus I ever got was general los. I loved it but I had a hard time learning to bake. I keep going back to the gas station to get it but they have yet to restock it. Im going to add it on to my next northerner order.

Yea im going tomorrow to see if they have it in or if they can order it at speedway, and im definitely going to add some of those los off the list to my next order. Out of curiosity I was wondering about how often everyone snuses a day on here. Right now im at about 6 portions a day and I didn't know if the was above or below average.
