Thanks! So far I've only tried General snus, because there's a couple cigar shops where I can buy it. When I realized this was for real and for good, I made an online order to try a few different things. Scheduled to arrive next week! I did try Camel and Marlboro and man they suck. Particularly Marlboro, which I couldn't even take for a minute. Also getting into snuff. I asked for some help in the snuff forum.

welcome aboard i was a 2 pack a day smoker but iv been on the snus for over 2 years and yup i double dipped with the smokes for a few weeks while i made the transition i think its the one and only hurdle of full on quitting you have to deal with thats the hand to mouth side of smoking i think your brain has to adjust to the fact you still get the nicotine part in different delivery system but after a few weeks i realised i wanted the nic hit not the smoke but thats addiction at the end of the day your brain will put up with almost anythig to get the nicotine short of lick nicotime out of dog turds and even then im not sure.
but for me when my brain realised i could get it all from snus and it tastes quite nice i just didnt want the cigs side anymore it was quite a relaxed transition a doddle compared to quitting totally
especially when i started to get all the benefits of actually quitting like the my blood pressure lowering, the lack of a cough and the black phlem you could glue bricks together with and my lungs are better than they have been in years

I haven't been in this thread forever. But I wanted to in again come and welcome all the new members of SnusOn. I hope you all enjoy the site and all the great members we have. You will find this to be the best group of people on the web. And no other snus site has as much info as we do here. Any questions...just ask. Enjoy!!Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Monkey, Thank you very much sir, re-decided on my user name it shall be Dirty Hippy from now on! Decided not to use Vladias.
Re-Post: Been viewing this forum for almost a year, decided to make my first post. I decided to finally quit smoking cigarettes in June of 2010, When the tobacco companies were forced to switch to Fire Safe Cigarettes. This destroyed the taste of my beloved Marlboro lights and made me cough more than before. After 10 years of smoking 2 packs a day I decided to give up the habit. I discovered Camel SNUS and I thought the flavor was WAY to artificially sweet. I did some researching online about snus and I found this AWESOME forum and I have been happily snusing General OP, White Portion and General Mint without a SINGLE cigarette since June of last year. ROCK ON SNUS ON!

Hello dudes, completely new here. I became a member just because of the community, and I like discussing about different manufactures, tastes, life and so on. But don't think Im a swede just because of the location, I'm just random finn being proud of the gold in World Cup Icehockey!
PS I'm sure I am the only one here who never been smoking, and got to snus first..
