Hi there!

I've been snusing for about a month and a half now, and smoked cigarettes for 5 years, but have cut down drastically. Started with a tin of US Camel snus like a lot of people... it seems to have an aftertaste like diet soda that I'm not fond of.

So far I've tried General white, original, wintergreen, and mini mint, Goteborgs Rape, Roda Lacket, and Grov white.

I've found them all to be pleasant enough although nothing stuck out as particularly amazing. I'm going to order some more tomorrow and I'd like to try something with flavor that isn't as subtle as Goteborgs or Roda Lacket, yet isn't completely overpowering like wintergreen or mini mint. I seem to prefer original portions but white is fine too...

Suggestions?

Recomendations are just hard. You will find that all our tastes vary quite dramaticaLLY.

But just to throw some out...

Oynx, really strong, a sterk, will help with the cigarettes thing.

As for the quit smoking thing, don't stress it. The snus will win in the end. I didn't even plan on quitting when I first started snus, it just sort of happened. But took me maybe 4 months to make the complete transition. So I always advise use what you feel like at the moment. Over time, you will start to just prefer the snus more and more.

I've ordered one can each of: Ettan Original, Onyx, Claq Qui, Skruf Cranberry, and Thunder Frosted.

From reviews it sounds like Claq Qui is pretty much what I want, a stronger Roda Lacket. Shame it's going away. But they say it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all, right?

Decent next order. But some more advice. Stop buying just one can. Takes at least two to even begin to get an idea of what you think of a snus. Try it, then try others, then go back in a week or so and try again. Snus is real funny, just takes a while for you to realy grasp what you think about one

And don't throw the cans away, that's a good way to keep track of what you've tried. And they come in handy for other things too.
