Hello All - New from PA.

Hey folks. New user here, obviously. Been snusing a couple weeks now and am down from almost 2 pack a day smoking habit (For about 20 yrs) to about 5 cigs a day, and am planning on eliminating those any day now. As my tastes are settling, my "goto's" are Thunder Frost and Thunder Berry. I intially ordered a whole bunch of sample packs so I have a ton of stuff in my freezer. I have kind of settled on a rotation of a strong snus then a regular snus. So I use the Thunder Frost and Berry as my strongs, and am rotating through all of the various regular strength's i have to find something I really like in that range. I am so glad I found snus (found like most of us Americans, started with Camel, hit the internet, found the swedish stuff), as it has made the attempt at quitting smoking the easiest method I have ever tried. I have lurked here for about 3 weeks but decided to post some now.

Question for the mods - I tried to register yesterday as BadAxe but never received the activation email. When I did a "lost password" attempt it says my username and email do not match. I must have typed something wrong in my email addy. Could you do 1 of 2 things for me? I would actually prefer the username BadAxe over this one, as that is my usual online nickname. Can that one be fixed so I can use it? If not, then just delete the registration of BadAxe, and I will continue to use this one. Thank you.

Welcome BadAxxe. Good to have another Keystone native on. Another primarily 'Sterk/ES' user here. I'm also still in search of my regular strength favorite (Go-To). Dipped Copenhagen snuff (chew) for 30 years prior to discovering snus.

Thanx for the welcome. Yea, the sterks/ES are the only ones that really take my cravings away. But if I do 2 ES in a row my heart hurts, so I have learned to follow an ES with a regular and that seems to work out well. I look foward to when I am smoke free and can graduate down to regulars all the time. But I do love my Frost and Berry from Thunder.

BTW, I am in Bristol PA, just outside of Philly.

Don't stress the cigarettes. Took me a full 4 months to make that transition. It will happen regardless, so just be patient. I actually used only sterks my first 4 months, but that was a long time ago, back before ES even existed. Once the ES's came, I found I had to always do at least what you are doing, one ES, then one regular. But if you drop down to just sterks, say Nick and Johnny or any other with just 11 mg of nicotine, you probably could use all day, every day.

But even after I started using mostly regulars, I always have a sterk open for that moment when I just feel the extra need. these days, have maybe 2 -3 sterks max in any given day.

Ok folks, the awesome mods here fixed my account, so I am now less one X the way it should be. Feel much better now. lol. I have been using this nick online everywhere now for about 15 years. Always makes me mad when I hit a forum or site that it is not available. grrrrrrrrrr

Welcome from York, PA. I'm not much of a 'Sterk/ES' user as I quit cigarettes ~15 yrs ago. I've only been snussing for about 4 months now and snuffing for about 3 1/2.

Good to see you have your username sorted. :wink: As per your other post, great job backing down on the cigs! I see you totally replacing that habit with snus some day but do it at your own pace. Your lungs are thanking you.
