I woke up this morning wanting to try it again, so here I go back to gawith apricot and start my day. If I'm lucky, my mail man will have stuff for me today, if not monday it it is.
I got some Dholakia swiss chocolate, which is awesome, and I mixed it in a bullet with some WoW coffee bite and it is GREAT! Goes really well with Offroad Choc/Van snus too. You should try that.

I still buy cigarettes every once in a while. But doubt I have done it more than once this last year. But if I want to, I will. That is the whole reason I do snus.

But you are right, over 3 years, the moments when I still really "want" one are fewer and fewer. At one time, long motorcycle rides made me smoke, now no more. So for me, smoky bars are probably the only time a craving still, and only occasionally now, hits.

My friend Joe I see every month or so. He is 70, still rides, I just always have a smoke with him. It is what we do. Not sure the cigarettes is the point but I sure do enjoy it every time. And a few other friends I see occasionally who smoke, I will still always share a smoke with them. And I never want to stop that.

But true cravings?? 3+ years in?? Very, very rare now.

^^I'm on board with that. Snuff is great for those periodic nervous cravings. Snuff is a really strong sensation, just like cigs, where snus is more of a mellow type of maintenance thing. I never feel a nicotine craving with regards to the sticks, only a craving to have some tobacco kick me in the face. I find that if I have even the lightest notion to smoke, shoving a bunch of menthol snuff up my nose kills it (smoked kools(because I am cool)).

                  echo, echo...lol

he's exactly right. I used sterks and Ekstra Sterks exclusively the first month that I was "quitting". As time passed, I worked in more and more regular portions through the day, and only used sterks and ES when a craving hit.

Guess now I use 2-3 Ekstra sterks a day, and 3 portions and a couple pris of los. I'm diggin where I'm at for now...

Its pretty much about the smoking habit. I've been using snus regularly now about years and I dont even think to smoke. Sometimes I can smoke one or two cigarettes but at the normal weekdays I ONLY use snus. I,ve been even going to hate the smoke smell especially on situations when people smoke a lot and lots of smoke. Its just about to getting used it.
