greetings, from Georgia of all places

Hi all,

I figured I'd introduce myself here since I'm just now really getting into snus. I started using camel snus to quit smoking about a month ago, then went to DC last week for a conference where they only snus I could find was the real deal (General Mint). Needless to say, now I'm pissed that the only thing I can find around me (in Athens) is camel. It's just not the same, and by that I mean it's disgusting lol.

Does anyone know of any good local stores in NE Georgia (Gwinnett/Athens/etc) to buy swedish snus? I've scoured the internet and have found nothing. Well, that's not true, it lead me here. I've placed a huge order with getsnus, but the thought of using camel for 4 more days is almost sickening.

Welcome kardinal! When did you place the order? Mine always arrives less than 24 hours after I get the email from getsnus with the tracking number. Next time you order from them also call right after to make sure it goes usps. This of course won't apply in a few months, but take advantage while you can, it's much faster and more hassle-free than UPS. Welcome to snus!

thanks lxskllr, I found a couple of places through that link semi-nearby but their websites make no mention of snus. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Roo, I placed my order around 6am this morning. The tracking number said it was scanned today at 1:23 in PA, if it got here tomorrow that would be amazing, haha. I figured it would take 2-3 days, but since the postal service doesn't deliver mail on Sundays it would be at least Monday before I got it.

haha, yeah. at least if I'm stuck camel snus for the time being it is only 2.50 a tin.


As far as the north georgia mountains go, some of the most interesting people I've met in this state I met while hiking up there. Like the guy sitting on the peak of Tray Mountain cooking campbells soup on a rock and teaching himself to play the fiddle. Or the old couple whose names were Mother Nature and Smoke Stack.
